Vanesa Rodríguez-Galindo is a historian of visual and material culture. She holds a PhD in History of Art and an MA in Metropolitan History. Her research interests include art and visual culture in Spain and Latin America, transatlantic material cultures, and urban and women’s studies. Her book, Madrid on the move: Feeling modern and visually aware in the nineteenth century, examines illustrated print media and urban identities in nineteenth-century Spain. She currently lectures at Florida International University.
